Pastor Rick Polar

We are grateful that you have taken your time to examine our website today. I hope that you will find it helpful and informative. I have been the Pastor now at M.A.B.C. for 10+ years following a twelve year ministry as associate pastor in Georgia, preceded by my graduation from Bob Jones University in 1993. I and my family have been immeasurably blessed by the Lord through the members and ministry of Missouri Avenue Baptist Church. It has been my privilege to serve the Lord in a church where God truly does have first place, where the Bible is still revered as God’s Word and where faith and love are still a way of life. Our church is far from perfect but striving to honor God in our public worship, in our service to the community and in our daily lives. It is our prayer that you will come and worship Christ with us, but more importantly, that you would know the peace and forgiveness of God that is only found through faith in Jesus Christ, His Son.
